PROJECTS

WELCOME PROJECT

A project which has as its main purpose the development and strengthening in every student of a solid and constructive “sense of belonging” to the school, understood as a community in which to grow, train, compare in diversity and favor respect for oneself, for others, for rules.

CONNECTION PROJECT

A project with the aim of making pupils’ access to the next order less problematic by gradually transferring the work methodology of each study order while developing a solid sense of belonging to the school.

WELLBEING PROJECT

A project related to the problems of preadolescence and adolescence and, within each subject, is articulated in different ways involving all teachers (cohabitation and interpersonal relationships, nutrition education, physical and mental changes of pre-adolescence, use of drugs and of doping in sports).

INCLUSION PLAN

Students with disabilities, developmental disabilities and linguistic and cultural disadvantages, DSAs and BESs, who are in need of didactic procedures commensurate with their needs, are involved in the so-called inclusion plan (PEI, Law 104/92; PDP, Law 170/2010 ). Scuola Europa welcomes non-Italian mother-tongue pupils through various initiatives to facilitate their insertion aimed at academic and social success.

 

LAB and EXTRA COURSES


DRAMA

The Drama laboratory is aimed at creating a theatrical performance in English. Students will not only be actors, singers, directors and dancers but also set designers and costume designers, thanks to tailoring and set design workshops. Find out more!

SUPPORT TO STUDY

Teachers take turns to accompany their students in carrying out their homework and teach them an effective method of study during several afternoons at school.

ICDL

The ICDL Base certification attests to the essential level of computer and web skills. Scuola Europa prepares its students to overcome the 4 modules that make up the ICDL Base: Computer essential, Online essential, Word processing, Spreadsheets. The school offers a curriculum and compulsory computer science hour in preparation for the afternoon workshop aimed at overcoming the four ICDL modules.

¡EUREKA! – EXPERIMENTS IN LANGUAGE

The project, that is conveyed in co-presence by the native English teacher and by the science colleague, proposes an experimental activity in the new scientific laboratory of the School with the aim of deepening the learning of science with a concrete verification of the studied phenomena.

WORDPRESS LAB – DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND WRITING FOR THE WEB

The laboratory consists of a course in web writing techniques and production of journalistic content for the school website through the use of the WordPress platform.

RADIO SCUOLA EUROPA

This workshop gives students the opportuity to try their hand at the different tasks and roles involved with a radio network (directors, sound engineers, editors, announcers, music programmers, journalists, etc.).

EXTRACURRICULAR LANGUAGES

Scuola Europa offers individual courses in Arabic, Chinese, German, French, English, Spanish, Russian, Turkish with native-speaking teachers.

SPORTS PROJECT

In addition to the sports offered at the school, students will have the opportunity to participate in external sporting events: F.I.S.I.A.E and ACLI Sport competitions, football, volleyball, basketball tournaments, and athletics competitions. Furthermore, Scuola Europa is a founding participant of the NISSA Sports League with other international institutes in northern Italy and Switzerland. This is intended to expand the school’s competitive sports offering through the organization of international events and tournaments involving various sports disciplines.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENT LESSONS

Musical instrument lessons are individual courses whose goals are built around the needs and expectations of the individual student. In addition to solid basic instrument foundation, individual music lessons offer the opportunity for students to expand their cultural, creative and emotional knowledge and stimulate cognitive processes that also reflect in areas outside of music.
